1. I'm writing my thesis in LaTeX using MikTeX under Windows XP. Page count is sometimes in single-spaced pages, and sometimes in in double-spaced pages. By the end everything was double-spaced.
  2. The initial jump in pages at day 1 is misleading. Most of the content there was simply an import of the University's LaTeX template for theses.
  3. Page count based on the total pages in the PDF version of my thesis.
  4. Word count based on Translators Abacus originally, and then later Any Count.
  5. The large jumps at the end are due to incorporating large sections that had been stored elsewhere (e.g., papers, methods) and also from switching to single to double spacing.
  6. The plateau in the middle was not part of the original plan.
